The Advocacy Alliance Guidelines For Emergency Room Visits or Hospitalizations This training describes best practices for individuals who have mental retardation when an emergency room visit and/or hospitalization is necessary. This program also describes the use of two forms, “Emergency Room/Hospital Admittance Form” and “Decision Making Tool for Accepting an Individual When Discharged From An Emergency Room or Hospital”.
